What A Hoot
What a Hoot is a five reel, nine payline, and nine coin slot machine. The multiple paylines increase your chances of winning.
What a Hoot has a wild symbol, and a scatter symbol.
The Wild Tree symbol is a wild symbol. This means that it substitutes for other symbols to complete winning combinations.
The Wild Tree symbol does not substitute for the Scatter Jar symbol to complete scatter winning combinations.
The Scatter Jar symbol is a scatter symbol. This means that it does not need to appear in a line on an enabled payline to win. It can be scattered anywhere on the five reels, provided three or more Scatter Jar symbols appear.
Wild Symbol
The Wild Tree symbol is a wild symbol. This means that it substitutes for other symbols to complete winning combinations.
The Wild Tree symbol does not substitute for the Scatter Jar symbol to complete scatter winning combinations.
Note:
The Wild Tree symbol only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Only one winning combination is paid out per enabled payline. If there is more than one possible winning combination on a payline, you are paid out the value of the highest combination only.
Example:
One Wild Tree symbol and two Mixed Berries symbols are displayed on reels 1, 2 and 3 on the first enabled payline. They complete a 3 Mixed Berries symbols combination and pay out 25 coins.
Two Wild Tree symbol and two Acorn symbols are displayed on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the third enabled payline. They complete a 3 Acorn symbols combination and pays out 10 coins.
Scatter Symbol
The Scatter Jar symbol is a scatter symbol. This means that it does not need to appear in a line on an enabled payline to win.
It can be scattered anywhere on the five reels provided that three or more Scatter Jar symbols appear.
Winnings are calculated by multiplying the Scatter Jar symbols combination payout, as shown in the Payout Schedule, by the total number of credits bet.
Note:
If you have a scatter win and a regular win, you are paid out for both wins, as the scatter symbol does not need to appear on an enabled payline to win. The scatter win is added to the payline win.
Example:
Two Wild Tree symbols displayed on reels 2 and 3 on the first enables payline, and a Scatter Jar symbol scattered anywhere on the five reels, do not complete a winning combination. The Wild Tree symbol does not substitute for a Scatter Jar symbol, and three or more Scatter Jar symbols complete a winning scatter combination.
You select a 0.50 credit coin and bet on all 9 paylines. Your total bet amount is 0.50 x 9 paylines = 4.50 total credits bet.
Three Scatter Jar symbols, scattered anywhere on the five reels, complete a winning scatter combination. Three Scatter Jar symbols pay out the total number of credits bet multiplied by 2.
Therefore, your total payout is 2 x 4.50 total credits bet = 9 credits.
You select a 0.50 credit coin and bet on all 9 paylines. Your total bet amount is 0.50 x 9 paylines = 4.50 total credits bet.
Three Scatter Jar symbols, scattered anywhere on the five reels, and three Crab Apple symbols displayed on reels 1, 2 and 3 on the first enabled payline, complete two winning combinations as shown in the Payout Schedule.
Three Scatter Jar symbols pay out the total number of credits bet multiplied by 2. So, your scatter payout is 2 x 4.50 total credits bet = 9 credits.
Three Crab Apple symbols complete a 3 Crab Apple symbols combination and pay out 25 coins x 0.50 credits bet per payline = 12.50 credits.
Therefore, your total payout is 9 credits for the scatter win + 12.50 credits for the regular win = 21.50 credits.
Payout Schedule
Winnings paid out on the slot machine are dependent on the symbols displayed on the payline, once the reels have come to a stop.
For a combination of regular symbols to produce a regular winning combination, the following criteria must be met:
The symbols must be next to each other on an enabled payline.
Winning combinations pay out from left to right. At least one of the symbols must be displayed on the first slot reel. A symbol combination from the second, third, fourth or fifth slot reels does not pay out.
For a combination of scatter symbols to produce a scatter winning combination, the following criteria must be met:
The Scatter Jar symbol can be scattered anywhere on the five reels. The symbols do not need to appear in a line on an enabled payline to win, and can appear on any reel.
Three or more Scatter Jar symbols must be displayed.
The Wild Tree symbol does not substitute for the Scatter Jar symbol to complete scatter winning combinations.
Example:
If three Acorn symbols are displayed on reels 1, 2 and 3 you are paid out for a 3 Acorn symbols combination, as the first symbol is displayed on reel 1.
If three Acorn symbols are displayed on reels 3, 4 and 5, you are not paid out, as the first symbol is not displayed on reel 1.
If three Acorn symbols are displayed on reels 2, 3 and 4, you are not paid out, as the first symbol is not displayed on reel 1.
If three Scatter Jar symbols are displayed on reels 2, 4 and 5, you are paid out for a 3 Scatter Jar symbols combination, as scatter symbols can appear on any reel to complete a winning combination.
The Payout Schedule summarizes the game Payout Table.
All payout figures show the number of coins won for each combination. The value of credits won depend on the coin size you select and the number of paylines that you enable. So, your win amount is the number of coins won multiplied by the number of credits bet per payline, except for scatter wins.
Scatter wins are calculated by multiplying the Scatter Jar symbol combination payout, by the total number of credits bet.
Example:
You select a 0.50 credits coin and bet on all 9 paylines. Your total bet amount is 0.50 credits x 9 paylines = 4.50 total credits bet.
Two Darryl symbols are displayed on reels 1 and 2 on Payline 1. They complete a 2 Darryl symbols combination and pay out 5 coins.
Therefore, you are paid 5 coins x 0.50 credits bet per payline = 2.50 credits.
You select a 2 credits coin and bet on all 9 paylines. Your total bet amount is 2 credits x 9 paylines = 18 credits.
Two Darryl symbols are displayed on reels 1 and 2 on Payline 1. They complete a 2 Darryl symbols combination and pay out 5 coins.
Three Alfred symbols are displayed on reels1, 2 and 3 on Payline 3. They complete a 3 Alfred symbols combination and pay out 80 coins.
You are paid 5 coins x 2 credits = 10 credits for Payline 1, and 80 coins x 2 credits = 160 credits for Payline 3, as you bet 2 credits per payline.
Therefore, your total payout is 10 credits for Payline 1 + 160 credits for Payline 3 = 170 total credits.
