Keno

Keno uses a large board marked with the numbers 1 to 80. In a basket are balls also numbered 1 to 80. Twenty balls are drawn at random. The objective is to predict the numbers of the twenty balls drawn. You may choose to bet on up to fifteen of the eighty numbers on the board in one play.

Playing Keno

To play a game of Keno, do the following: Click the Increase (+) or Decrease (-) button to select the amount you want to bet. Left-click a number on the Keno board to select it. The number you select is highlighted. To de-select a number, left-click the same number again. You can select up to fifteen numbers. Click the Play button. The game starts. Note: As numbers are drawn they are highlighted on the Keno board. A selected number changes color when it is matched with a drawn number. When all twenty numbers are drawn, you will be paid out according to the number of matches made. The Payout Table represents the winnings. Click the Clear button to play again.

Payout Schedule

The Payout Table is dependent on how many numbers you selected on the Keno board.

The first column, numbered 0 to 15, indicates the number of matches. The numbers selected are shown in the top row. The number of matches is cross-referenced to the numbers selected to show your payout. To use the Payout Table do the following: In the top row select how many numbers you bet on. Follow the column down until it intersects with the row showing the number of matches you have. The amount at the intersection of the row and the column is the payout you receive. Note: A "-" indicates that there is no payout. Example: Six matches off eleven numbers pay out 6X your initial bet. Two matches off eleven numbers pay out 0.5X your initial bet. Five matches off six numbers pay out 30X your initial bet. Important: Malfunctions void all plays and pays.

The following diagram shows the features of the Keno screen. Note: Position your mouse pointer over the graphic to identify the screen features. To view the description of a feature, click the required area of the graphic.

Game Features

Play Area Displays the Keno board. Payout Table A list of winning combinations, and the amount they pay out. It is situated to the left of the Keno board, and has the following function: - All winning combinations are highlighted on the Payout Table. Spots Selected icon Displays how many numbers you selected.

Game Controls

Play button Starts a game of Keno. Undo button Reverses the effects of the Clear button. Clear button This button has the following functions: - Deletes all numbers currently selected. - Clears the Keno board after the completion of a game. Increase (+) and Decrease (-) buttons Used to select the amount you want to bet.

Common Controls

Exit button Opens the Casino menu. Help button Opens the help file for the game you are currently playing. Bank button Opens the Banking screen. Options button Opens the game Options dialog box. Note: This button is only available in the Casino Menu.

Screen Features

Credit box Displays your current credit balance. Bet box Displays your total bet amount. This is automatically deducted from your credit balance. Win box Displays the credits you were paid for your last win. This is automatically added to your credit balance.
