Carnaval has a wild symbol, and a scatter symbol.
The Wild symbol substitutes for other symbols to complete winning combinations.
The Wild symbol does not substitute for the Scatter symbol to complete scatter winning combinations.
The Scatter symbol does not need to appear in a line on an enabled payline to win. It can be scattered anywhere on the five reels, provided three or more Scatter symbols appear.
Wild Symbol
The Wild symbol substitutes for other symbols to complete a winning combination.
The Wild symbol does not substitue for the Scatter symbol to complete scatter winning combinations.
Note:
The Wild symbol only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Only one winning combination is paid out per enabled payline. If there is more than one possible winning combination on a payline, you are paid out the value of the highest combination only.
Example:
One Wild symbol on reel 2, and two Scatter symbols scattered anywhere on the five reels, do not complete a winning combination. The Wild symbol cannot substitute for a Scatter symbol to complete a scatter winning combination.
One Wild symbol and two Trumpet symbols are displayed on reels 1, 2 and 3 on an enabled payline. They complete a 3 Trumpet symbols combination and pay out 25 coins.
Two Wild symbol and three Clown symbols are displayed on an enabled payline. They complete a 5 Clown symbols combination and pay out 500 coins.
Scatter Symbol
The Scatter symbol does not need to appear in a line on an enabled payline to win.
It can be scattered anywhere on the five reels, provided three or more Scatter symbols appear.
Winnings are calculated by multiplying the Scatter symbols combination payout, as shown in the Payout Schedule, by the total number of credits bet.
Note:
If you have a scatter win and a regular win, you are paid out for both wins, as the scatter symbol does not need to appear on an enabled payline to win. The scatter win is added to the payline win.
Example:
One Scatter symbol scattered anywhere on the five reels, and two Wild symbols displayed on reels 2 and 3 do not complete a winning combination. The Wild symbol does not substitute for a Scatter symbol, and a minimum of three Scatter symbols complete a winning scatter combination.
Three Scatter symbols, scattered anywhere on the five reels, completes a scatter winning combination as shown in the Payout Schedule. Three Scatter symbols pay out the total number of credits bet multiplied by 2.
If you have selected a 0.25 coin and bet 1 coin on each of the 9 paylines, your total bet amount is 0.25 x 1 coin = 0.25 credits per payline x 9 paylines = 2.25 total credits bet.
Therefore your total payout is 2.25 total credits bet x 2 = 4.50 credits.
Three Scatter symbols, scattered anywhere on the five reels, and three Ten symbols displays on reels 1, 2 and 3 on an enabled payline, complete two winning combinations as shown in the Payout Schedule.
If you have selected a 0.50 coin and bet 1 coin on each of the 9 paylines, your total bet amount is 0.50 x 1 coin = 0.50 credits per payline x 9 paylines = 4.50 total credits bet.
The three Scatter symbols complete a scatter winning combination and pays out the total number of credits bet multiplied by 2. So, you are paid 4.50 total credits bet x 2 = 9 credits.
The three Ten symbols complete a 3 Ten symbols winning combination and pays out 10 coins. As you selected a 0.50 coin size, you are paid 0.50 x 10 = 5 credits.
Therefore, your total payout is 9 credits for the scatter win + 5 credits for the regular win = 14 credits.
Payout Schedule
Winnings paid out on the slot machine are dependent on the symbols displayed on the payline, once the reels have come to a stop.
For a combination of regular symbols to produce a regular winning combination, the following criteria must be met:
The symbols must be next to each other on an enabled payline.
Winning combinations pay out from left to right. At least one of the symbols must be displayed on the first slot reel. A symbol combination on the second, third, fourth or fifth slot reels does not pay out.
For a combination of scatter symbols to produce a scatter winning combination, the following criteria must be met:
The Scatter symbol can be scattered anywhere on the five reels. The symbols do not need to appear in a line on an enabled payline to win, and can appear on any reel.
Three or more Scatter symbols must be displayed.
The Wild symbol does not substitute for the Scatter symbol to complete scatter winning combinations.
Example:
If three Banner symbols are displayed on reels 1, 2 and 3 you are paid out for a 3 Banner symbols combination, as the first symbol is displayed on reel 1.
If three Banner symbols are displayed on reels 2, 3 and 4, you are not paid out, as the first symbol is not displayed on reel 1.
If three Banner symbols are displayed on reels 3, 4 and 5 you are not paid out, as the first symbol is not displayed on reel 1.
If three Scatter symbols are displayed on reels 2, 3 and 4, you are paid out for a 3 Scatter symbols combination, as scatter symbols can appear on any reel to complete a winning combination.
The Payout Schedule summarizes the game Payout Table.
All payout figures show the number of coins won for each combination. The value of credits won depend on the coin size you select and the number of coins you bet per payline. So, your win amount is the number of coins won multiplied by the number of credits bet per payline, except for scatter wins.
Scatter wins are calculated by multiplying the Scatter symbol combination payout, by the total number of credits bet.
Example:
You select a 0.50 coin and bet on all 9 paylines. Your total bet amount is 0.50 credits x 9 paylines = 4.50 total credits bet.
Three Lady symbols are displayed on reels 1, 2 and 3 on Payline 1. They complete a 3 Lady symbols combination and pay out 80 coins.
Therefore, you are paid 80 coins x 0.50 credits bet per payline = 40 credits.
You select a 2 credits coin and bet on all 9 paylines. Your total bet amount is 2 credits x 9 paylines = 18 credits.
Three Jack symbols are displayed on reels 1, 2 and 3 on Payline 1. They complete a 3 Jack symbols combination and pay out 10 coins.
Three Lady symbols are displayed on reels 1, 2 and 3 on Payline 3. They complete a 3 Lady symbol combination and pay out 80 coins.
You are paid 10 coins x 2 credits = 20 credits for Payline 1, and 80 coins x 2 credits = 160 credits for Payline 3, as you bet 2 credits per payline.
Therefore, your total payout amount is 20 credits for Payline 1 + 160 credits for Payline 3 = 180 total credits.
